Strong demand results in record average pricing for both townhouses and condominiums this quarter - a continuation of the trend established for the townhouse sector in the 1st quarter of this year, where buyers continued to eschew the suburban option for expanding families. For condominiums, this was an abrupt change in direction from the trend established over the previous three quarters, with the dollar per square foot metric increasing significantly – an indication that larger units are being absorbed.
